My Approach
I’m a Psychosynthesis Therapist offering a transpersonal, integrative, and holistic approach. My work is rooted in the belief that each person carries an inner wisdom and a natural movement toward growth. Due to the complexities and challenges of life, we often need support to reconnect with this depth. I mainly offer talk therapy, and when it feels supportive, I weave in creative and embodied practices tailored to your needs.
My transpersonal approach invites a deeper connection with meaning, intuition, and the wider fabric of life. The integrative aspect draws on psychodynamic perspectives, helping us explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape the present. Through gestalt practices I explore what is unfolding in the present moment counselling relationship and what this reveals about patterns of relating. I also work holistically with mind, body, and feelings, informed by over fifteen years of somatic practice and my long‑term study within the Diamond Approach.

My Experience
I am trained and experienced in using creative techniques such as guided imagery, drawing, and gentle movement. My approach includes these methods as powerful ways to meet hidden parts of the self, longings, and new possibilities for growth.
Alongside my therapeutic training, I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals and groups in grassroots mental‑health settings, including homelessness services, ecotherapy projects, and social forestry. These environments shaped my understanding of the deep life struggles faced by many due to health, racial, gender and class inequalities. I also witnessed the restorative power of nature, community, and the many ways people find meaning and belonging.
These experiences inspired me to seek a creative, depth based psychotherapeutic approach. I went on to complete an intensive three‑year training in Psychosynthesis Counselling, gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My Ethos
I believe we are all students of life, doing our best to navigate its complexity and beauty. My own path has been shaped by a deep connection to wild places — sea, mountains, and ancient woodland — and by a spirituality rooted in simplicity, presence, and relationship with the body and land.
Becoming a student of the Diamond Approach in 2008 profoundly shifted how I understand the human journey and the dimensions of the human soul. Later, discovering psychosynthesis felt like finding a therapeutic approach that honours depth, acknowledges trauma and the past, and recognises our potential for growth within the wider social and cultural systems we live in.
Like many of us, I continue to wrestle with the challenges of living within structures that can limit authenticity and connection. My approach sees therapy as one meaningful tool among many that can support personal and collective transformation.
